The last 30 years have led me to the place where I can passionately and confidently provide the kind of services where people gain a notable improvement in their self-esteem and personal confidence. I have been blessed to get to know and help people from all over the state, and these people are more than clients to me… they become friends in my community. I want to thank all the dentists, dental specialists, and my previous clients in Bend who have supported me and referred their own patients, friends, and family to me as well. Your satisfaction with my work, trust in my abilities and ongoing friendships have motivated me to be my best. I truly love the work that I do!
Dr. Phillippe Freeman has been practicing dentistry since 1995. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University with honors in restorative dentistry and implant dentistry. He has concentrated on aspiring to perform restorative dentistry at a level most dentists would prefer for themselves. Dr. Freeman has participated in many post-graduate programs in the areas of restorative, implant, prosthetic, and cosmetic dentistry while studying full-mouth rehabilitation concepts and dental materials.
In 2017 he was one of only two dentists in Oregon to have received a Master’s Certificate from the Academy of General Dentistry.
The AGD is the governing body in dentistry that tracks and provides credentials for continuing education for dentists. To obtain a Master’s Certificate, a dentist must first earn Fellowship status, which requires 500 hours of approved continuing education in every aspect of dentistry and a rigorous board exam. After that, 1100 hours of approved hands-on training and continuing education are required to obtain the Master’s status.
That year, ninety-nine dentists across the globe earned their Master’s certificate, with only two dentists in Oregon receiving this prestigious award.
Dr. Freeman married his wife in the summer of 1990 and has two daughters, born in 1991 and 1995. Both daughters have kept him busy attending sporting events throughout their childhood while maintaining a busy continuing education and professional schedule. The Freemans first moved to Bend in 1995 and are native Oregonians. Dr. Freeman is proud of his long family lineage in Oregon, as well as his family’s and his own veteran status in the U.S. Military. That pride drives his motives to serve people with honor, respect, and integrity every day and in every procedure he performs, whether small or complex.
When not spending time improving smiles for others, Dr. Freeman spends time being athletically active with his wife, Teresa. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, and recreational sports. As a long-time member of the Bend, Oregon community, he and Teresa enjoy many friendships, people, and activities in Central Oregon and look forward to continuing those relationships for many years.
